    Mupirocin

Mupirocin is an antibiotic used to treat certain skin infections, such as impetigo. This highly-contagious infection is caused by staphylococcus aureus, also known as “staph” bacteria. Mupirocin kills the bacteria and stops further growth by treating infected skin lesions. It is also prescribed for other uses. This medication comes in an ointment or cream that is applied topically, then covered with a gauze dressing. For more information, please reference our package insert.

    Unit-dose ointments and creams

Unit-dose repackaging makes semi-solid pharmaceuticals, including ointments and creams, easier to dispense and manage. The benefits of unit-dose ointments and creams are similar to those of unit-dose liquid medications. They allow your facility to track inventory, dispense the correct dose for each patient, and minimize the risk of errors.
